‘Iv’ De Leon helps support in many ways with Austin Mutual Aid. Passionate about accessibility and inclusion being a BIPOC, Queer, Neurodivergent Austinite. Be it supporting programs, logistics & transport, or leading from the front in the field with outreach and with Disaster/Weather Response. Passionate about getting others plugged into community and making connections that help everyone. ‘Iv’ joined Austin Mutual Aid in Summer of 2025 after seeing yet again, offical systems fall apart and it was coordinated neighbors & local groups coming together to pick up the pieces.

Spanning years of Americorp’s experience, Various local Non-profits, municipal and community driven organized efforts, from Urban Farming to Street Medicine. Advocacy to Community Preparedness. ‘Iv’ is capable of most all from the physical work, endurance & expertise needed for response efforts or to networking & collaboration with partners to support community needs with a more tactful approach.

Having seen and experienced firsthand the Onion Creek floods and Snow Storm Yuri have impacted communities close to home, and struggling with substance abuse & homelessness at the immediate onset of COVID-19. ‘Iv’ not only continually works to educate themselves and others on how to better advocate and inform, but amplify and connect the community with resources within to empower individuals, spoons permitting.
